The Intex model 59900 Type A filter cartridge is compatible with a wide range of Intex pool models, including the easy set, frame set, wet set, and the Wal-Mart Brand sun and sand pools. Additionally, this filter can be used with the Intex Krystal Klear filter pump models. The filter cartridge is also suitable for many above-ground pools from best way and Aqua leisure, such as the quick set and simple set series. It is compatible with both 59900E and 29000E models.
Intex filter cartridges are made from Dacron material, which makes them easy to clean and replace when necessary, usually after about two weeks. To ensure you're getting the right size for your filter, look for the large A on the package.
The filter cartridge is designed to work with smaller pumps, ranging from 530 gallons per hour to 1,500 gallons per hour. It is compatible with pumps that use both Type A and Type C filters.
For specific filter pump item numbers, the Type A filter cartridge can be used with the following models: 58603, 58604, 56637, 56638, 56635, and 56636.
To maintain optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the filter cartridge with a new one every two weeks.
